Founded as an intimate private salon for collectors overseas, IMPERIALJADE was created to bring museum-grade jade and natural Burmese jadeite directly to discerning hands. Bypassing commercial storefronts and mass manufacturing, we welcome clients through personalized appointments and private commissions, ensuring every carving receives undivided artistic attention.
Our workshop follows a rigorous selection standard focused strictly on untreated Type A jadeite. Each raw boulder is scrutinized for geological rarity, pure crystal grain, and the elusive quality of translucency—known in classical lapidary as "water head." Master carvers study the natural veins of every stone before making a single cut, honoring the natural rhythm within.

Diamond bur carving
Carvers use micro-speed rotary chisels lubricated by cool spring water, removing stone micron by micron to release delicate motifs from the crystal core.
Water-wheel polishing
Surfaces receive progressive passes with walnut husk paste and graded bamboo wheels, yielding the smooth, soft grease luster characteristic of heirloom jade.
